Airscream AirsPops Orka in South Africa: New Disposable Guide
The Airscream AirsPops Orka is one of the newer additions to the Airscream family in South Africa — and it is worth understanding before you lump it in with ordinary throwaway bars. The Orka is a refillable pod system, not a single-use disposable: you buy the device once, then keep it going with refillable pods and your own e-liquid. That makes it a smart step up for anyone tired of buying a new disposable every few days.
Nicotine products are for adult smokers and vapers aged 18+ only.
About the Airscream AirsPops Orka
Airscream is a well-established name known for its AirsPops pods and distinctive draw. The Orka takes that DNA into a compact, pocket-friendly device with a built-in rechargeable battery and a refillable pod. Instead of throwing the whole unit away, you top up the pod with e-liquid and recharge the battery. The Orka starter kit gives you the device and a pod to get going; the refillable pods are sold separately when you eventually want a fresh one.
The Orka refillable pod runs a 0.6-ohm coil with a 20ml-friendly refill design, giving a flavourful, slightly warmer draw than a tight cigarette-style pull. It sits between classic MTL and a looser, airier inhale — comfortable for most adult vapers moving on from disposables.
The Orka range at ADVapes
- Airscream AirsPops Orka Starter Kit — Ruby Red: the complete kit with device, battery and pod.
- Airscream AirsPops Orka Starter Kit — Pearl White: the same kit in a clean white finish.
- Airscream AirsPops Orka Refillable Pod 0.6 20ml: the replacement pod to keep your Orka running.
Pair the Orka with any compatible nic-salt or freebase e-liquid — including Airscream’s own 313 nic-salt range — so you control the flavour and nicotine strength rather than being locked into a single pre-filled option.
How to choose
If you are moving off single-use disposables and want to save money over time, the Orka starter kit is the place to begin — pick Ruby Red or Pearl White on looks alone, as the hardware is identical. Buy a spare refillable pod at the same time so you always have a fresh one ready; pods eventually wear and flavour dulls, and swapping the pod is quicker than waiting.
Because the Orka is refillable, you also choose your nicotine level through the e-liquid you buy — lower mg for a gentler hit, higher for stronger cravings. That flexibility is the main reason to pick a refillable pod device over a fixed-strength disposable.
FAQ
Is the Orka a disposable?
No — it is a refillable pod system. You recharge the battery and refill (or replace) the pod, so it lasts far longer than a throwaway bar.
What e-liquid can I use?
Any compatible bottled e-liquid, including nic salts and freebase. This lets you set your own flavour and nicotine strength.
How often do I replace the pod?
Refill the same pod until the flavour starts to fade or it begins to leak, then fit a fresh Orka refillable pod. Keeping a spare on hand avoids downtime.
