Wick N Vape Cotton Bacon is the long-standing standard for coil builders: Cotton Bacon Prime (R120) is the current version, sold in a pack of pre-cut strips that need minimal preparation, and Cotton Bacon V2 (R129, 10g) is the earlier version that many builders still prefer for its slightly denser wick. Both are unbleached organic cotton and either will wick any conventional coil. Hellvape Organic Shoelace Cotton (R109) is a braided format cut to length for wide coils. The two Geekvape ZX Mesh Sets (R50) are not plain cotton: each pack pairs pre-cut cotton with a mesh strip for the Zeus X mesh RTA, in 0.17 ohm N80 or 0.2 ohm KA1.

How to choose and use it
Match the thickness of the wick to the coil’s inner diameter: it should pull through with slight resistance, not drag. Trim the tails so they just reach the deck floor or juice well, and saturate fully before the first fire. Replace cotton whenever flavour dulls, it discolours dark brown, or you change liquid. A 10g pack lasts most builders several months.
