The Aspire Gotek is unusual: one small pod device that can be run two completely different ways. Fit a refillable pod and it is a proper MTL kit you fill with any e-liquid you like. Fit a prefilled 3500 pod and it behaves like a pod bar you never have to think about. Most people buy it without realising they get to choose. Route one: the refillable pod
The Gotek refillable pod is an empty pod with a built-in coil. You fill it from a bottle, vape it, and refill it until the coil eventually tires — typically one to two weeks of daily use, depending on how sweet your liquid is. Then you fit a new pod.
The upside is freedom. Any 30ml nic salt on our shelf goes in it, at any strength, and you are never stuck with a flavour you have gone off. The running cost is also the lowest of anything in this category once you factor in the price of liquid per millilitre.
The downside is that you have to carry a bottle, and you have to remember to refill before the pod runs dry. For some people that is trivial. For others it is exactly the friction that sent them to disposables in the first place.

Which route should you take?
Be honest about the strength you actually want. The prefilled pods are 50mg only. If you have tapered below that, the prefilled route is off the table and the refillable pod is your answer — fill it with a 20mg or 35mg salt and you are set.
If you are still on 50mg and what you want is a disposable that costs less and wastes less, take the prefilled route and do not overthink it.
